The Slampool Manifesto

A parimutuel house,
built for the trenches.

§ I

A Brief History

In 1867, Joseph Oller invented parimutuel betting at the Parisian racetracks. The idea was simple. Pool everyone's bets. Deduct a small fee. Distribute the rest among the winners.

For 157 years, this mechanism powered horseracing across the world. The horseshoe became the symbol of luck for turfistes. Those who studied form, watched the paddock, and trusted their conviction.

In 2026, we bring parimutuel back. To Solana. To the trenches.

§ II

The Trenches

Slampool is a parimutuel betting platform for crypto memecoin events, price targets, and on-chain milestones.

We call our home page The Trenches. Where degens fight, slam, and stack.

There is no house edge. No corporate interface. No oracles deciding winners arbitrarily.

Just pools. Real-time multipliers. The horseshoe knows.

§ III

How it works

  1. 01Anyone creates a pool. Pick a template, memecoin market cap, crypto price target, DEX volume, or KOL trader battle, set the parameters, stake the initial liquidity, and the trenches have a new event.
  2. 02You slam YES or NO with SOL. Each slam moves the multipliers in real time. Larger pools, lower multipliers. Smaller pools, higher payouts.
  3. 03Pools resolve automatically via on-chain data. Pyth for prices. DefiLlama for DEX volume. Helius transaction history aggregated for KOL battles. No manual intervention. No disputes. The settlement hash is signed on-chain so any third party can verify the outcome.
  4. 04Winners split the pot. Pool creators earn a slice of the protocol fee proportional to their fee setting. Losers learn. The horseshoe knows who got it right.

§ IV

What we are NOT

  • A sportsbook with house edge.
  • A perpetuals exchange with funding rates.
  • A casino. There is no “the house”. The pool is the house.

What's live (BETA on devnet)

Status

Slampool is currently in BETA on Solana devnet. Bets are placed in test SOL with no real-world value. The full product is feature-complete and audit-clean. We're running on devnet while we polish, raise funding, and coordinate an external audit before the mainnet flip.

Permissionless pool creation. Anyone with 0.15 SOL creates a pool. The protocol takes a 1% fee on winning payouts. Creators set their own cut up to 0.5% (default 0.5%), the rest goes to the treasury. No gatekeepers, no application form, no rev-share negotiation.

Four templates active. Memecoin market cap, crypto price target (BTC/SOL/ETH via Pyth), DEX 24h volume (DefiLlama), and the new KOL battle template. Each maps to its own deterministic on-chain settlement source.

KOL battles. Pick two Solana traders, define the window. The winner is the wallet with higher realised PnL on-chain over the period, computed by walking every swap each wallet made via Helius transaction history. No human voting, no dispute window. The KOLs themselves can't fudge the outcome; only their actual trades count.

Trustless settlement hashes. Every resolution writes a 32-byte hash on-chain that canonicalises the raw inputs (price feed values, KOL PnL totals, settlement timestamps). Anyone can re-run the computation off the same data and verify the hash bit-for-bit. The oracle has discretion only over timing; the answer is a function of public data.

§ VI

The path to mainnet

Slampool ships in two acts. Act I (devnet BETA): full product, real on-chain logic, test SOL. Act II is the mainnet flip itself, which happens after these eight gates close.

  1. 01External audit closure. One independent firm reviews the on-chain program (Anchor 1.0.1, ~5k lines). All Critical / High findings closed. Audit report published with the mainnet announcement.
  2. 02Public bug bounty. We open an Immunefi-style bounty in parallel with the audit so external researchers have skin in the game during the review window.
  3. 03BETA telemetry baseline. Two weeks minimum of devnet activity covering create / slam / resolve / claim on every template. Indexer + oracle behaviour stable under load. No silent settlement skews.
  4. 04Funding round. Raise to cover initial liquidity, ongoing oracle infra, audit retainers, and growth. The mainnet flip is gated on this. We don't go live with insufficient runway to defend the protocol.
  5. 05Phantom + Solflare verification. Submit the program ID + frontend domain to Phantom Blocklist Allowlist + Solflare so the “may be malicious” warning disappears for users on the canonical domain.
  6. 06Frozen authority + multisig. Program upgrade authority moved from a single deploy keypair to a Squads multisig with a published threshold. Treasury accounts likewise multisig-controlled.
  7. 07Public launch communication. Announce mainnet date with the audit report, the bounty results, the multisig signers, and the canonical program ID, at least 7 days ahead of the flip so anyone can verify before slamming real SOL.
  8. 08Mainnet flip. Frontend points at the mainnet program. The BETA banner disappears. The horseshoe knows for real.

Targeting Q2 2026. We'll move faster if the gates close faster, slower if any single gate fails. We do not flip before all eight close.

The thesis

Built in the trenches.
Decided by the pool.

Slam YES, slam NO. The horseshoe knows.
